Venue and travel to Rennes > Sustainable travel competition

Transportation, and especially planes, can represent a significant part of our carbon footprint. For example, a round trip by flight from Vienna, Austria, to Paris, France, amounts to approximately 0.547 tons of eq CO2, which represents one third to the maximum amount of CO2 (depending on estimates) that can be generated by a single person in a year to stop irrevocable climate change (as a 2050 objective).

At ISEE Young we want to highlight the trips that will be made without airplanes in order to raise awareness of sustainable travel. That's why we've created a small competition to find the most beautiful and impressive trip to come to Rennes.

We propose for you to send us your itinerary (without plane) and your best travel photos, which we'll broadcast during the conference. Additionally, because it is more complicated to travel without a plane from further away, the award will consider distance as bonus points (hence the 'impressive' aspect of the award).
If you are willing to participate in the competition, don’t forget to send us your itinerary (needless to say that trips by plane will not be considered sustainable) and some pictures of your trip by filling in the short form here by Thursday 6th June at noon!

It's time to make us dream and promote a different way of traveling!
